lock offset

OK, I've suddenly starting having a problem I never had before my hard
disk crashed and I reloaded the system.
Bruker 400 xwin-nmr, Windows 2000

Some normal 1H spectra (CDCl3) are showing a shift of about 0.5 ppm. Why
only some? I made a point of removing the command in the au program for
automation that looked for TMS (because we don't use TMS). Other than
this, the spectra look perfect. What would this mean? What have I forgotten?
