Hello again,
It turns out our hosts.allow was set up wrong. The reason we were never
able to telnet to spect was because the CCU would never completely boot.
We had spect.chem.brown.edu in the hosts.allow file but what we really
needed was spect. Our telnet was set up properly the entire time.
Thank you all again for taking the time to respond to my inquiry. I
included everyone's responses in the previous message so I will not be
redundant.
