Hi everyone,
We are experiencing frequent, spurious autosampler error trips on our 60-position
SampleCase. Despite user education, users loading or retrieving tubes near the
transport mechanism frequently brush against the red safety / tube-height detection
arm.
Compared to our 24-position units, the mechanism on the 60-position carousel feels
loose, has weaker return tension, and seems prone to cause errors. Even a slight
nudge trips the sensor, turns the status light solid red, and halts automation
until manually reset.
Has anyone implemented an effective physical or mechanical workaround for this
(e.g., auxiliary rubber bands, some kind of maintenance to the pivot point, or
other suggestions) to prevent false trips without bypassing the over-length
safety check?
Any insights or field fixes would be greatly appreciated.
