If you keep getting errors from that sensor it might be worth looking at it
—sometimes those sensors get dirty and can start to cause problems.
I heard about one user getting intermittent errors from a different sensor
and it turned out there was a bug living in their sample changer. But I
digress…
I would take a look at the sensor that detects whether the arm on the samplecase
has been triggered or not. Maybe blow that out with some compressed air and
make sure the arm isn’t too loose or flopping around. If you want you
can go into the BSMS service webpage and go to the sample changer section.
There’s a page there where you can monitor the sensor statuses—
you can move the arm and make sure the sensor is behaving as expected.

Hello all--we just completed our annual preventive maintenance on our 500 MHz
cryo system a couple weeks ago, and updated to Topspin 4.3 from 4.1.1. As of
now, our sample case has stalled 3 times with the same error message (screen
caps attached). It is simple enough to restart the system, but I'm not sure
why the problem recurs. The samples are loaded correctly, centered properly
with the appropriate volume, and we have had no issues with in-house air. In
a desperate measure, I switched back to Topspin 4.1.4 just now, to see if
the problem is software-related. If anyone has experience or insights into
this problem, I'd appreciate any advice!
