We have two identical Sun Blade 150s running Solaris 9. One is
a spectrometer host using VNMRJ 1.1D(beta) while the other
is a workstation using VNMRJ 1.1C. We recently had to re-load the
OS and NMR software on both systems due to some problems with hackers.
As part of the resurrection we also installed a large patch bundle from Sun
that was issued on Apr 8.
Before the re-load we were able to remote (network) print on the spectrometer's
printer from the data station. We find that we are no longer able to do this,
although
printing on the spectrometer is fine.
The messages we get (on the data station) are:
# lpstat -t

On the spectrometer, both devices are listed as shared in /vnmr/devicenames. Other
network
services on inova600 work fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
