Ok, since you have mentioned the Zip drive, I will help this thread out!
We have a DAT on a Sun and it seems to work fine, but few people like to
use it.
On a PowerPC 7100 we have a zip which is used by everybody and it
is very well liked. Like in this context means ease of use. The Zip is
about a year old.
I have talked to a student who bought a zip for is home PC and had
no success. Support was difficult. He had file name corruption on his
harddrive after saving to the zip. Eventually he gave up and buoght a
larger harddrive.
Can you post the changes, or tweeks needed to put the Zip on a Sun
workstation? Thanks, Lew
