Our UPS is ready for battery replacement. I saw the thread on "UPS batteries: A
cautionary tale" and I remember an older thread on refurbished "good" batteries
being better than brand new poor batteries.

Our current batteries (put in by the supplier last year) say:
12V 9AH batteries for UPS
(constant voltage charge; cycle use 14.4-15.0V; standby use 13.5-13.8V; initial
current: < 2.7A)
They are lead batteries from DiaMec

Which UPS batteries have you bought / do you recommmend / from where were they
purchased? What year?
