Dear Dennis,
The following approaches are possible:
In the standard PGSE / PGSTE experiments you can keep the capital delta
fixed (the diffusion encoding period and increment the small delta) so
that the J modulation remains the same for all the gradient strengths.
There are other approaches to measure self diffusion of coupled spins
S. Sendhil Velan and N. Chandrakumar, JMR Series A, 122 - 125, 1996.
Use the chemical shift selective approach and this will enable you to
measure the self diffusion of individual components in multi-component
system. This method looks at the line widths which is a measure of
frequency as compared to other methods which measures the amplitude.
