Hi Ann-
I don't know your specific hardware, but it is pretty common for the cabinet
muffin fans to fail, and for the cabinet filters to clog up.
They are out of sight and out of mind, but are pretty important for proper
cooling.
Good luck

Hello,
I am reaching out hoping for an alternate solution to the $1400/unit cost of
replacing SGU600 boards. All three SGU boards in the Avance console for our
500 MHz SSNMR instrument have been damaged by prolonged overheating. After
talking with our EPR specialist, I'm curious if there might be a common
fail-point I could look for and attempt to repair. If they are going to be
scrapped, I might as well poke around.
Thank you,
Anne Carroll
