Dear colleagues,
what you describe sounds like it could be related to Prosol which had the odd habit of losing some pulse durations during the transition from TopSpin 3.2 to 3.5 at our workstations.
Please type „edprosol“ and check if there are 2H observe and decouple 90° pulses for the solvents affected. If not, copy some reasonable values from another solvent and have Prosol recalculate your pulse set for that solvent.
I hope that helps.
Best regards,
Johannes Liermann

It refers to the use of the shaped pulse in the topshim1d pulseprogram used for methanol and states that SP0=0.0 and is too short and should be at least 0.25us. We have used methanol in the recent past without a problem, and so I don’t understand why this parameter is now causing problems, and how one can fix it. Possibly related to this was an earlier error during locking referring to BSMS control; lock key wasn’t valid. I reset the ELCB which seemed to clear that up. Any suggestions would be welcome-
