Pfizer Global Research and Development has an opening for a Post-doc in
biomolecular NMR at their La Jolla facility. Please forward this position

We are seeking a Ph.D. to do biomolecular NMR of pharmaceutically relevant
targets. The individual will support project team(s) that have expressed
interest in structure, dynamics, and/or information on binding modes between
small therapeutically active ligands and the protein target. The successful
candidate will initiate and complete one or more of these studies and in
turn, provide projects the high quality data that is required for making
decisions in the drug discovery process. Publication or presentation of
results for many projects will be strongly encouraged.
The ideal candidate will have NMR experience with larger proteins, protein
complexes and/or RDC measurements for structure determinations. Experience
with Varian spectrometers is desirable; however both vendors instruments may
be used for some projects. Strong communication skills and team focus
needed.
The position is for one year, renewable for a maximum of 2 years and offers
a competitive compensation package that includes full benefits and
relocation.
