Dear sir
I am having the same problem on 400 MHz EQUIPMENT, But every time it happens I just reset the automatic sample express as per the bruker recommendation but it repeats occasionally. I don’t know the reason for this type of errors why it happens, actually we have blue spinners for analysis. Previously we don’t have the problem with this equipment's.
With regards

Dear All,
I am contacting you concerning some strange behaviours on some of our Bruker systems.
We currently have two Bruker Avance III HD systems (one 500 MHz, the second 400 MHz) equipped with the 60 holders SampleXpress and working with Topspin 3.2. These systems were working fine until some weeks ago when the 500 MHz started to miss randomly some samples: I mean, while the sample is in place in its holder and appearing in the front little screen, the system was not detecting it and declared it missing, editing the following error message :
" WebService Error: 117.310.272: Insert Error: There is no sample in position '1' " (the problem was on position 1 here).
While witnessing such problem, I am seeing the system place the holder in the right position, then nothing more : no noise, no attempt to insert the sample. Acting as there was really no sample.
Usually, I can submit again the sample and, without touching anything, the sample is recognized and inserted, normally.
As I was using white translucid spinners, Bruker suggested me to change
them back to the standard blue spinners. It seems to work on our 500
MHz. But the problem is this trouble is now happening on our 400 MHz
system which always used blue spinners. And since my arrival in the lab
(now more than a year ago), I never noticed this trouble on this system.
I would add the two systems are not in the same building. I did not
perform any software update. The 500 is running under Linux, the 400
under Windows 7. I did not change anything with air. In the case of the
500 MHz, I am the only one operator (so normally no trick with an user).
Of course I already cleaned the systems and tried to reset or restart
whatever I could to fix this issue.
Is anyone have ever had such trouble? I am currently lost by this trouble.
Best regards,
Emeric Wasielewski
