I have not seen this particular error pop-up.
Many of the responses you have received so far have been pointing to
permissions issues, and since you see this happen every time you apply
OS updates, I would tend to agree. Does this happen no matter which
user account is logged in to the workstation? What if you tried
logging in as nmrsu? If that works, then there is definitely a
permissions setting that gets clobbered during the OS update.
What happens if you load a sample in H2O+D2O and try to run 1H topshim?
That would be pulsing on 1H instead of 2H. I'm just curious if that
would work. Then it might help narrow down what got messed up when the
OS updates were applied.
If you have seen this happen following every OS update, how have you
resolved this in the past?
