Thanks for pointing me in that direction Mike. Pulling the gradient cable didn't
affect the signal (which is good because it means the gradient isn't firing
erratically) but then on a whim I pulled the 2H cable as well, and when I
plugged it back in a few moments later, the erratic signal stopped and got
my normal lock signal back. So far it hasn't come back and I can use the
instrument, but I'm not sure what this means about the root cause?
I still get two errors,
1. Occasionally "rcuerror: Scan speed overrides accumulation" which usually
results in partial acquisition and
2. "Topshim fieldmap: signal-to-noise is too low" when using CDCl3 which I
have understand is due to CDCl3 not being a great lock solvent.
Not sure if this gives any insight but it may be that there is more than one
point of failure. Possibly CCU and Lock transmit/receive pathway.
