Consider this my personal opinions and not anything Bruker official. As far
as Topspin itself and operating a console goes, I find things pretty much
identical between the Windows and Linux versions. From a pure spectroscopy
standpoint I don't find one to be significantly better or worse than the
other.
Many customers who've been using Linux for a long time have any number or
scripts and workflows outside of Topspin that give them a strong preference
to stay on Linux. Conversely, it's harder to find IT groups that are
skilled at anything other than Windows, so if you rely on IT for much of
anything that may be worth considering.
