Hello All,
The CentOS 7 computer running our NEO 500 MHz NMR was recently compromised.
Because CentOS 7 will reach EOL in a little less than a year, it seems
like the best way forward is to replace the current computer with one running
a different operating system. I'm wondering if there is an advantage to
sticking with Linux. Is the Windows version of TopSpin equivalent to the
Linux version? Has anyone noticed a difference in functionality between
the Linux and Windows versions? How frequently (if at all) do Windows updates
"break" Topspin? Any advice/perspective on which of the two operating
systems is superior (or if they are equivalent) would be welcome!
Thanks!
