Dear All,
One of the SCB20 shim current board in AVANCE NEO console of our 600 MHz NMR
instrument shows error messages as below:
Shim current source 13 shutdown due to over temperature or broken connection!
Reboot SCB20 (2)
1014: Coil power limit reached: PV = 23W
Shim SCB20 Handle Interrupt: SCB20 Current Source Overcurrent Error! All
current zeroed: Board:1
In the beginning, rebooting the machine helped in recovering the board but
now, it hardly recovers and remains in the error state. Bruker's service
engineer remotely checked the system and suggested replacement for this board.
The fans in the BSMS rack are working well and the door filter is clean too.
I am curious if the fault can really be with the board or if there
is something else which is affecting its performance. Has anyone ever
experienced the same or similar problem? Are these advanced electronic
boards repairable?
