AMMRL: Couldn't find sample after power outage/cryoprobe

Dear Colleagues,

We had a power outage recently due to a thunderstorm. When we arrived
on site the batteries on the backup UPS had failed evidently so the
Cryoprobe warmed up.

There should have a sample in the cryoprobe at the time as nobody
removed the sample. The strange thing is that the sample was there:
(1) Nobody claimed to have ejected the sample out, but the
moving transfer slider tube was not on the magnet side (we installed
an autoimatic SampleCase, but no sample protection device)
(2) No sample was ejected out either after power recovery
(3) Plus, a new sample can be inserted and spun up (it should
be impossible is there is another spinner inside). After cooling down,
no problem for lock, shimming, and running experiments.

What I worried about first is that the sample was lodged or wedged in
the probe, but now I felt confused. Is there any one met similar
situation before and would like to share your experience?

Thank you very much for your help in advance.
