"Plot" in TopSpin doesn't print anything. This is a Linux instrument
controller connected locally, not on a network, to a LaserJet.
I know the printer driver is there because the word processor sees a
CUPS printer named
HP_LaserJet_P2035_2
and the word processor prints text and graphics.
In Red Hat -> System Settings -> Printing, when I try to add a new
printer, my "Printer model" is not there among the many HP LaserJets,
even though the word processor sees the CUPS printer above.
In the Plot editor "Print Command" is
lpr %s
It seems I may have to do cf or expinstall, which I would like to
avoid, since I am installing a printer and not the whole instrument.
In TopSpin, "prnt" does print the screen in a primitive way, without
parameters etc. It gives the spectrum and axes.
Thanks very much to any TopSpin/Linux experts out there who can help
me with this.
