Hello All,

We are in the process of renovating of NMR facility in preparation for a helium
recovery system and some questions came up. We are planning on collocating our
magnets together in the same room, but this requires us to have the fields
overlap a bit. While the overlap is about one foot from looking at the designs
the engineers have asked the question "per installation manuals, when two or
more 5-gauss fields intersect with each other; the magnetic fields could change
shape and increase in size. More research on the magnetic fields increase is
to be conducted in order to confirm end equipment location."

How much does the overall stray field change in terms of shape and size when
two stray fields overlap by a little bit?

Thank you,
