We wanted to find out the status of Dr. Shapiro's NMR Newsletter (The old
TAMU NMR newsletter). We tried emailing Dr. Shapiro but our emails bounced
back. It was our understanding that the newsletter had been discontinued.
If it has not been started elsewhere, Mike Reily and I would be very
interested in restarting the NMR newsletter. Is this newsletter still
active? Do you think this newsletter is worthwhile or is this something
past it prime? If there is not a current newsletter with this format (quick
technical contributions and independent of a vendor and industry), we would
like to start it up again with a similar format, but have it electronic. We
would like to setup the newsletter so it is not necessary for subscribers to
submit a technical contribution in order to receive it. Additionally, no
funds would be needed from an outside source for the newsletter's fiscal
viability. We would also not mind working with another individuals who
would be interested. Mike and I would be interested in your views and
comments.
