Hi,

Could anyone help me to find out the most recent commercial process used to
prepare CDCl3 ? (OK, not strictly related to NMR - but may be of interest)

I am reliable informed that the literature suggests the following methods:
>1) Decarboxylation of trichloroacetic acid
>2) Decarbonylation of chloral
>3) An iodoform type reaction of hexachloroacetone

Many thanks in advance.

Mark
