Windows or Linux for XWINNMR

Dear NMR Friends,

I need inputs from the users who have experience with running XWINNMR
under PC platforms. Which operation system, Windows or Linux, is
better in terms of XWINNMR performance ? If you don't have experience
with both operation systems, how do you like the one you are using ?

If you have done a SGI-to-PC upgrade, are there any pitfalls in
replacing SGIs with PCs ?
