Configuration of Inova for Protein NMR

AMMRLers,

I am configuring a Varian Unity Inova for Protein work and I have a few questions for anyone that has done it or had it installed with this configuration.

1. Does it matter which channel is configured for proton only if the other 2 are broadband? Do the ProteinPack sequences work regardless?

2. How necessary is it to have a waveform generator on the 2nd channel? Is it at all necessary to have a waveform generator on the third channel?
