Thanks to Mike and Clemens who dug through service documentation and said
"The shimcntl module gets called by many routines that are acquisition
related...including RSH/WSH or CHECKLOCKSHIFT commands." There is a file
<topspinhome>/exp/stan/nmr/lists/bsms for a file called .BSMS_init_values_lost
that causes the issue. Renaming/deleting the file resolved it for me!!
Thanks all! So far so good today. Getting some users set back up with the new
computer shortly so we'll see if there are any more hiccups as we return to
regular use.
