Thanks for all the advice everyone – it indeed turns out that I had
done the expinstall command too early (ie before cf) and so repeating the
process sorted it all out 😊
Thanks again, Harry

Harry:
One thing that I might suggest if you didn't
do it is to run "expinstall" after setting things in cf. There is usually a reminder
to do that, so I assume you did, but we sometimes see these issues when we change routings.
Good luck,
Ian.

Hi folks,
Hoping someone can help me with cortab…
I had to replace the controller PC and have installed Topspin 3.8.0 without
issue.
I restored the previous installation files using nmr_save and everything appeared rosy.
However, when trying to shim on the sucrose sample (using 1H), I get this error:
and then this one:
Seems to be an issue with cortab yet the green ‘cortab available’
light shows in edasp and one can acquire 1H data without issue:
There are a bunch of files in the <TSHOME>/conf/instr/<spec>/cortab/ folder
but the cortab window looks a bit sparse to me:
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Many thanks,
Harry
