I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has a used Bruker
MAS stator (4mm BL, 7mm DB, or 7mm BL style) to sell or give away.
Specifically, we are trying to build a benchtop spinning apparatus for
testing sample packing before loading samples into our MAS probes. The
stator in question does not need to be functional for NMR, but it should be
able to spin a well-packed sample stably to at least a few KHz without
wearing down the rotor or endcap. For this purpose, it is not essential for
the stator to spin up to its factory-specified speed and the RF coil need
not be included.
In addition to the stator, I am also looking for the hollow posts
which provide compressed air and support for the stator. In fact, we would
also be interested in buying an entire used Bruker MAS probe (frequency,
magnet bore size, RF operating condition unimportant) in order to
cannibalize these parts. If you have such a probe, or just the stator or
posts, to discard, please contact me at any of the addresses below.
