Dear all
I was contacted by Prof. S. K. Misra (skmisra@vax2.concordia.ca).
He has a Varian EPR with a V 3901 Magnet. If my memory serves me right,
that is a 12 inch 45 degree low impedance monster of prehistoric
proportions. It also leaks.
Questions:
Has anyone successfully repaired one of those coils? I believe
the coil was ribbon wound with a copper cooling plate epoxied to one
side.
Does anyone have a good spare coil in the basement, or a
complete magnet?
Anyone with a complete magnet system that could replace his?

Thanks and Cheers Rolf
