We have a GN-500 with an ethernet card which allows use of the PFTRAN
protocol to transfer data files (to an SGI running Felix, for example).
However, no wildcard option exists in PFTRAN software.
Does anyone have a clever way to create an effective wildcard and thus avoid
typing in each file to be transferred? We have a Priam drive full of short
1D data files that we would like to store on tape and CD. We can use
Kermit's wildcard option over a serial line, but would prefer the speed of
the ethernet.
