hi-I'm Larry Simonson at Framingham State College and have recently had my
name added to the ammrl mailing list. We have recently obtained a Varian
xl-300 instrument and I have taken on the task of managing its operation, as I
am the department's instrument person. I have been trying to get a decent
printer working to replace the hp inkjet and would be quite happy with a desk-
jet. We obtained the epson emulation cartridge, installed it in the a desk-
jet, and hooked it up to the xl's parallel printer port. The printing of
graphics was unsuccesfull as an extra line feed was added somewhere so we got
"zebra" specta. Printing of text etc was fine. All attempts to fix this with
the config switches were of no use. We are running 6.2. Can anyone help?
