external controls

Hi gang
We would like to control some external electronics attached
to a Varian VXR 500S, running VNMRS vers. 4.3 software. What we
are looking for is TTL signals that can be turned on and off
during the pulse sequence.
Anyone out there that has accomplished this please let us
know how
