We have a new instrument arriving any day. It includes gradients for
"fast" 2D work (10 minute COSYs, etc.) One of the faculty members has
been asking how it works (physics, not hardware).

Does anyone have a reference to a reasonable explaination of how the
gradients select only the coherence pathways we want? I can hand-wave
up to that point, but I can't come up with an answer (other than
"because that's the way it works") beyond that.
