This concerns the installation of 600 MHz NMR spectrometer magnet at our
Institute in a room of 6 m * 6 m dimension.
My question is : Is it possible to shield the stray fields coming out of
the room (particularly 5 Gauss line) horizontally and make it hazard free
for the people with pace makers (Cardiac) outside this 6 m * 6 m room.
Have anybody used such shields ?
