Dear friends,

I received so many responses for my question of a possibly bad helium =
transfer line, Jane, Sara, Lawrence, Michael, Roger, LeRoy, Neal, Bill, =
Zennie, Leslie, Shaoxiong, Phil, Patrick, Jose......, thank you so much. =


While the response indicates that some transfer lines from Varian/Oxford =
do need to be pumped up a year or two (certainly not before every use, =
except one response), none response indicates that Bruker's transfer =
line needs to be pumped in several years: I have the same experience =
with my 1993 Bruker's transfer line. Since we are under warranty, I just =
ask Varian to get a new one to me.=20
