Hi all,
since a long time I was looking for a simple possibility to
watch the temperature in our spectrometer rooms. I know that
spiderplant solution, but for citizens of europe their payment
is difficult. By help of
a news group (get.ct), I found a very nice solution a few days
ago. The device consists of a web server (with a size of about
8 * 5 * 1 cm**3) and a thermosensor. All you have to do is to connect
it to your network and your power supply. You get the temperature
all 5 minutes and the temperatures become stored for 7 weeks.
Unfortunately by no means cheap (800 DEM), but on the other side
you save a lot of time. The manufacturer ist http://www.wut.de .
If interested you can see the fresh installed device at

Best regards

Rainer
