Hi Vas,

I unfortunately do not know much about the vendors in the Philly area -- in
Providence we used a very local company. From past experience, what you're
looking for will depend a little bit on the distance you can get between the
compressor and the magnet systems. At Brown we used a standard double blower
(I think the blowers were Champion?) several hundred feet away, and this was
adequate, I think it had a 200 L ballast tank but it might have been larger.
At Arizona we were a bit more cramped, and so we went with a dual scroll
compressor (Gardner Denver) on a 100 L ballast tank, and this worked great
with a minimum of isolation, even though it was only 10-ish meters away
from the 800. In both cases we used Zeks Hydronix towers to dry the output air.

I would very strongly recommend that whatever system you get use a dual-pump
configuration (so that one goes and the other rests) to allow service without
downtime. I would also recommend you plumb two sets of desiccators, so that
one can be serviced (or regenerated) while the other works. Zeks towers come
in pairs, but I would really recommend 2x2 of these if you can get away with
it; the redundancy was something I missed when I didn't have it.

Sparky
