Dear NMR colleagues,
I am looking for companies that will do cold probe maintenance for a
Varian/Agilent 600 MHz HCN cold probe (circa 2003), including cold head
replacement and replacing the adsorbent, for a good price. I remember a
while back people were worried about what they would do when Varian 'went
away' and that several other companies were mentioned that would do this
service. I am wondering if people could share their experience with these
companies. I am also interested in knowing if you do your cold probe
maintenance yourselves and if so, where you by the replacement parts.
