For my posted issue I believe many have the same concerns. So far I have not found a simple solution yet.
Dr Charles Fry gave his solution as the follows:
“TopSpin provides an archive method that will only perform the archive copy once the acquisition is complete. We use this method to provide data to a server that the users can access. We don't let them directly access the spectrometer host computer. The archive path is available under Preferences in 3.x versions. It is also available in IconNMR; see the User panels with Icon for the archive path.
The only issue here is a bug with the multizg au's; they won't archive, the data acquired using that method have to be manually copied to the archive server. Otherwise, everything works well. Note that IconNMR also provide methods for emailing zipped datasets to users.”
