Greeting,
Can someone please tell me where to buy some extension tuning/matching
rods that can screw into the corresponding capacity ports for home-made
coils? I noticed that the tuning/matching capacity have both male and
female threads and if I can attach an extension rod to them this will
make tuning/matching much easier when the coil is in the magnet
isocenter.
By the way I have a 4.7 T/40 horizonal magnet with updated Bruker
imaging console and I am try to do some 19F in vivo NMR spectroscopy
study where we made our own 19F/1H coil. I am wondering what the
best/easy way to MANUAL optimize high order shims (other than x/y/z)? I
am trying manual shimming on fid of H2O and barely see change in H2O fid
by changing the high order shims.
Thanks,
