Hello again,
I must apologise, it always helps to restart the PC when one has changed
display settings doesn't it?
With 'run in 256 colour mode' selected in the compatibility tab for eXceed
properties and a restart, dconi and dpcon function normally.
The rest of XP gets some rather strange colour effects but that's livable

Hello
I wonder if anyone else has observed the following problem and maybe can
help. We have been using Hummingbird eXceed on Windows 95 over a number of
years for accessing VNMR from our PCs. Our PCs have now been upgraded to XP
and we have got ourselves a display problem with 2D displays. The command
dpcon only displays the scales (i.e. no contours). Also, the threshold bar
on the right of the spectrum in dconi mode is no longer sensitive to the
mouse. In the latter case it is still however possible to change the
vertical scale of the plot by clicking the mouse in the plot area. With W95
we did have a problem with the threshold bar, but this was solved by setting
the pc display to small fonts and 256 colours. Setting to 256 colours in XP
does not solve the problem. The best solution may be to upgrade eXceed but
the upgrades don't always improve matters in my experience anyway.
