BSMS display and Win2000 (try 2)

Is anyone out there successfully running XwinNMR 2.6 on
Windows 2000 (pro) computer running an Avance
spectrometer? Specifically, does the BSMS display tool work?
This is the panel that controls shim, eject, He level readout etc., and not
the lock display panel; the one activated from the Windows menu of XwinNMR,
and not the hardware keypad (which they don't have).

I know that I asked this question before, and received some very useful suggestions,
but we just can't get this to work. The original NT computer died and was replaced
with one running Win 2000. All of the latest patches (PL5) from Bruker have
been installed, but the BSMS display panel dies with a "segmentation fault"
every time. Re-booting the console and the host computer doesn't help
either.

Thanks in advance!
