Hello Tracey,

First, let me say what a beautiful lab you have for your 800MHz magnet!
One of my laments about the ever shrinking stray fields from our larger
magnets is that we no longer build large spaces to showcase these
instruments, but instead  we end up shoehorning them into smaller and
smaller labs, sometimes siting three or more magnets in the same space
we used to have one.

To your question:  I think that you could have some aluminum scaffolding
temporarily installed in order to change those overhead lights.  I
wouldn't want to try to measure anything while this was going on, but it
should be possible.

I liked George's suggestion about LED lights.  Maybe you can replace
those overhead fixtures with new ones which use LEDs?

Good luck,
Bob.
