Hi Everyone,
We've been getting the following error message on our Bruker AVANCE 500:
E84: BSMS excessive coil power: press stdby
I also hear a faint ticking sound and the lock oscillates a little (like a
hiccup not like it's saturating).
Does anyone know what this error means? Is the lock power is too high or
is one of the shim currents too high? One of my students said he set the x
shim really high. I reset our BSMS and reloaded a shim file and it went
away for now.
