We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join our team
as a *Magnetic Resonance Engineer. *

*Summary:*

· This position is all about doing whatever it takes to help drive
the commercialization of T2 Biosystems’ first product T2Candida and the
development of our new *Multiplex Hemostasis Assay Panel* product line

· You will be involved in manufacturing and engineering aspects of
this small but growing business unit.

· Candidate will be an important member of the T2 Biosystems
internal team responsible for magnetism and NMR technology.



*Responsibilities: *



· Improve or establish processes, procedures, protocols, and
documentation for process validation, hardware production and QC activities

· Assembly, production, and QC of T2MR hardware including permanent
magnets and radiofrequency probes

· Ensure conformity and documentation of activities to appropriate
manufacturing and QC standards

· Implement changes that meet quality standards in a fast-moving
R&D environment.

· Participate at all stages of R&D from development to production

*Requirements:*

Education:

o BS/BA degree in electronics or mechanical design

o 5+ yrs. industry experience

o 2+ yrs. magnet and radiofrequency probe assembly production experience

Must Haves:

o Experience in nuclear magnetic resonance instrument production,
assembly, and fabrication.

o Experience in RF electronics design and troubleshooting

o Demonstrated capabilities in process and design improvement

o Experience with high-uniformity permanent magnet assembly and
production

o Experience in quality control and protocol documentation

Nice to have:

o Experience with high uniformity permanent magnet assembly design.

o Background in designing and building stable, temperature-controlled
instrument enclosures.

o Experience with computer-driven instrument control is a strong plus.

o Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment

o Deep fundamental understanding of nuclear magnetic resonance
relaxometry, spectroscopy, or imaging.

*Additional Requirements:*

· Excellent organizational, record keeping and communication skills
(oral and written), with excellent presentation technique.

· A strong work ethic to generate high quality work under tight
deadlines,

· A proactive attitude

   - Demonstrated leadership and self-motivation. Possesses the ability to
   motivate and guide others to meet objectives.
