On one of our Sun Blade 1500's running VNMR J 1.1D we have been
seeing 2D and 3D experiments fail with an error message of the form...
Sun Oct 17 20:08:46 2004: FID 6641: Acquistion error, code = 900
Varian has this listed in their VNMR J 1.1 bug list as an unresolved
bug. However I am told that the application lab at Varian hasn't seen
this error message in a long time. Interestingly I haven't seen this
problem on a second console running VNMR J 1.1D. The only clear difference
I can find is that the console that is immune to the problem has been
used with dsp='r' and the other has dsp='n'. I have recommended that the
users try dsp='r' on the problem console and see if that resolves it.
Has anyone else seen these 'code = 900' errors recently? If I understand
the error code it implies that an undefined error has occured so it
may be hard to debug.
