Greetings!

For those doing MAS experiments using PENCIL rotors with AIR SENSITIVE materials
- what kind of ampoules/inserts/caps can you recommend for use or for
avoidance?

(BTW we have both 7.5 mm and 5.0 mm PENCIL rotors in use with coax, apex, or
triple-res Chemagnetics probes and a CMX 300 spectrometer. We use a standard
MAS frequency of 5 kHz relying on dried air for both bearing and drive.)

I suppose a second, related question would be a recommended test to see if the
ampoule/insert/cap is working as expected? i.e. a material/method (other than
the precious air sensitive sample) to check that there is indeed no air
exposure with the setup.

All replies will be greatly appreciated,
Regards,

Yael
