Spinlanders;
We recently had our magnetic stray fields checked by a pro from the Brian
Institute also affiliated with the National High Magnetic Lab. The
gentleman brought a low cost gauss meter (magnetometer) and we learned
that although the high field magnets were close to the published spec's.
Other sources of higher than 5 Gauss AC magnetic flux were very common.
If I had a pacemaker ... I would own one of these magnetometers to check
monitors, refrigerators lights and etc. for my own safety and peace of
mind.
I am,
Robert Harker
