I am running Irix 5.2/ Xwinmnmr 1.3 on an SGI Indy (ASX 300 if it
matters.) I have been having problems with the mediad daemon and
Bruker say the only way to truley fix this is to reformat the system
drive and reinstall all the software. I have the CDs for Irix 5.3
and Xwin, but not the Irix Developers Option disk (which I need to
complile pulse programs). Based on "versions" and the list command
in "inst" it is indeed a seperate CD.
I don't have it, and the comp center librat has no 5.2 disks. They
have "something" for 5.3 (but don't know for sure what). If they
have it, I have to pay about $500 to borrow the disk.
So, does anyone out there have a Iris 5.3 IDO CD that could find its
way out here for a few days?
