Hi all:
We have one Varian SMS50 autosampler (Zymate XP Robot) for Agilent 400MR
instrument. I calibrated and taught the robot, and then tested it. When
I tested the individual movements at lower moving speed (speed=0.2) as
requested from the manual, the robot vibrated/shaked vertically one or a
couple of times quick before and after picking up sampler tube on the rack
and above the magnet. It picked the sample finally.
But when I run TEST.RACK.5 which went through all fifty positions one after
another continuously at the normal moving speed (speed=1), there was no
problem to pick/drop sample tube on the rack and above the magnet at all.
I tried also to run some NMR samples after enable the autosampler from
configuration. There was no problem either.
Do you have any idea what was wrong? Do you think I may use autosampler for
sample analysis? Any comments and suggestions are appreciated.
