Greetings!. Our Agilent DD-800 is showing constant lock level on the remote
status display. The lock level stays same even after removing the lock cable
from both the probe end and preamp end. Does this mean lock transceiver
board is failed/failing?, but still current is leaking. How to diagnose this
problem at the hardware level (console). There is no change in lopck level
even after doing a standard 3D gradient shimming using a standard 2mM Sucrose
sample. The gradient profile looks normal. The shims converged with less than
1 rms error. I'm not sure what type of relationship exists between lock level
and gradient shimming. I would apprecxiate your help/suggestion on this issue.
